How to Reduce Stress and Improve your Mental Health

Funeral service professional face stress everyday while serving families that have experienced the unfortunate loss of a loved one. Speakers from various Community Mental health centers will provide you with valuable tip and tools to help your release your stress and improve your mental health while dealing with difficult situations and the everyday stress of your job.

KFDA Executive Director Pam Scott will provide you with information on the Federal Trade Commission’s review of the Funeral Rule and the KFDA’s response. She will also point out valuable free resources that NFDA makes available to you to recruit future funeral service professional. This includes tools to help you recruit students from local high schools through career day presentations as well as efforts by the NFDA to help guide veterans into a career in funeral service through the Duty to Serve initiative.
