Alzheimer’s Disease: Family Secrets

Alzheimer’s Disease is having a growing influence on families across the country.  With Baby Boomers entering into more advanced age, the numbers of cases of Alzheimer’s continues to grow.  For decades, families have hidden the effects the disease has had on them.  Explore some of those secrets and how we can more effectively work with families who have been impacted by this currently incurable disease.

the KFDA Mass Fatality Disaster Plan - Be Prepared to Respond!

KFDA members will be introduced to the newly revised KFDA Mass Fatality Disaster Plan.  All funeral directors should be familiar with the plan and understand how funeral directors might be asked to respond should a mass fatality strike Kansas.
